At Texas Highway Rangers, we believe in always keeping an eye out for those in need.
During a routine drive down US-75 through Collin County, one of our volunteer rangers came across a motorist stranded on the side of the highway with a flat tire. Recognizing the potential danger of working roadside with passing traffic, our volunteer took quick action to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
With safety as our top priority, we carefully escorted the vehicle off the highway to a nearby parking lot where the tire could be changed in a much safer environment. This not only helped the motorist avoid a long wait for assistance but also prevented unnecessary risks of working too close to moving traffic.
A huge thank you to the Melissa ISD Police Department for stepping in to provide traffic control during the escort! Their assistance helped create a secure scene, allowing our volunteer to complete the tire change efficiently and get the driver back on the road.
At Texas Highway Rangers, we are committed to providing courtesy roadside assistance to those in need. From flat tires and fuel deliveries and other roadside issues, we are here to help.
🚗💨 Stay safe, and remember—help is always closer than you think with the Texas Highway Rangers!
Drive safe, and stay warm Texas!
